Management:

• Acute: During transport, the drainage system should be placed on the side of the stretcher, securely held or attached to the lower frame, strictly below the level of the patient's chest. It should not be hung on an IV pole or lifted onto the stretcher.
• Definitive: Once at the destination, immediately return the system to its proper stand on the floor, ensuring it remains upright and below chest level.
